Evening Sky

Here is a taster of pictures to come. At first glance you would be forgiven for thinking that this is a typical Cotswold stone house. There is no real indication of any oak framing being involved in this project but how wrong this assumption would be.

I spent an afternoon with Mark our photographer on site with kind permission of Paul and Margaret our customers. The weather looked very doubtful to start off with but gradually became better as the afternoon slipped into the evening.

The photograph here is just the first picture of a complete new shoot and wow what a house. Within the Cotswold stone façade there is a full oak post and beam frame which looks fantastic. Every room of the house has some oak to give character.

I always say that the oak frame is really made by the finish that follows on. I am regularly impressed by the good quality builders that we have the privilege to work with on most of our projects and this house is one such job. The finish and eye for detail throughout the whole house is fantastic and due to good planning all brought in on time and on budget. This house is a testament to the taste of the client and the quality of the builder both of which are of a very high standard.

I will bring you the full set of pictures soon.
