One of the great pleasures in life is to get out and about, to see our clients finished homes. This year for the penultimate Open Day of the year we visited Mrs. Sue Newby in Yorkshire. A 5am start saw us leaving Hereford in thick fog, but 4 hours later we were passing by York in bright sunshine heading for Skackleton.

Everybody has a different idea, and I get a real kick out of meeting people, listening to their ideas, answering their questions (well most of their questions) and hopefully guiding them in the direction of a feasible outcome.

Now it stands to reason that if you are going to mount about twenty open days or exhibitions a year, then you need a good supply of satisfied customers happy to invite people into their homes. You can bling-up an Exhibition Stand and put on a good show, but it’s the real life clients in their real homes that tell the real story. While I'm happy to meet new Clients, I'm not a Sales person, so nothing beats seeing it dawning on people, as they talk to the owners that their dream house is a distinctly within reach.
