The New Year is here and we have a lot of exciting projects ahead of us. Here is a brief preview of our first;
|
Following on from having already designed and built a Lytch Gate for Special Forces in Hereford Garrison, we are extremely pleased to continue our 'special' relationship by designing and building a Sun Room for "The Grove", which is situated within the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
| Mike Colton who served with 22 SAS Regiment saw an octagonal Sun Room that we built as an outside class room for our local school. He thought that a Sun Room like this would work well in the middle of the 3 acre "Grove", which commemorates Allied Special Forces men, women and children from World War 2 up to the present day, in a unique setting beside two lakes and the River Tame. |
| Marek of Oakwrights designed an octagonal Sun Room with a 6m internal span that will be covered in plain tiles and eventually have a seating area for visitors, educational parties of school children and college students. A remembrance service will be held there on every Remembrance Day commencing in 2011. |

With all that our Armed Forces are currently going through we are extremely pleased and honoured to be involved in this project. Should anybody wish to support this Sun Room then you can become a sponsor by having your name carved into a piece of the frame. |
| We will bring you more pictures as we erect the oak frame. |
