Our First Venture into Timelapse Photography

We take hundreds of pictures every year, documenting our frames as they progress and many of these end up on this website, but they don't really do justice to what is such an interesting process.

Ideally, of course, we would like to video the whole process but clearly this would be a mammoth undertaking.

So as a compromise between the two, we've been playing around with timelapse photography.

With it we'll be able to film the entire frame erection and compress what could be a months work into a 3 minute video.

But as a dry run we set the camera up in the workshop to film them for a few minutes and we thought you'd be interested in the result.

Now we've proven the idea works, the next job is to set it up on some of our upcoming frame erections.  We'll be posting these new videos soon so keep checking back for updates.
