Rolling down its sloped site towards a wild flower meadow, this house with its eclectic mix of styles espouses the idea of “Country Contemporary” design. As you will see from the attached photographs, the oak frame is clean and light enhancing the comfortable living space.

Working with Julian Bluck, a designer who knows the style of the Sussex Weald and our customer well, a home with a comfortable country feel has been achieved.

From the entrance level you see what you think is a traditional country cottage. Once inside, to the right you rise to the main sitting room or descend to the large kitchen family room. From the entrance to the left you enter an angled wing that contains the master bedroom and further secondary bedrooms.

We have worked with Julian Bluck and Sussex construction, the building company, on four projects and are now on our fifth. The relationship works well, and as with this home we have created some exciting oak frames.
