Each frame is a celebration; a celebration of life, of mans inherant ability to fashion from that most plentiful, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing of raw materials, timber. It is a structure that goes beyond the mere bounds of functionality. These buidings display a symmetry and beauty that are in harmony with their surroundings.

We progressively invest in the necessary tools and means to help us achieve those aims. But at the heart of all these worthwhile aims are people. From the highest level of management to the newest trainee framer we work as a team. No one single individual builds a frame or a home.

We are happy to show you our offices, our workshop, the very way we work. Additionally, throughout the year we organise open days so that people can come and inspect, and judge, the quality of our work.

- OAKWRIGHTS® were the first oak framing company to use a sophisticated beam processor to help fabricate full oak frames. Used in conjunction with state of the art frame design software it operates to amazing levels of accuracy (+/- 0.5mm) and substantially increases our productive capacity keeping ‘lead-in’ times down.
- We are the first, and to date the only, company to have a patented infill panel system which has been successfully assessed by TRADA, with full NHBC approval.
- We have developed the WrightWall™ & WrightRoof™ encapsulation, a breathable wall system using 95% natural or reclaimed materials aimed at providing a healthy living environment using sustainable materials with minimal impact on the environment.
- We have developed, and continue to develop, the BarnRange, a range of modular designs for those wishing an alternative to a full bespoke design.
- We are the only oak framing company with a fully fitted & functional show home where we hold regular open days and in which prospective buyers can stay overnight (our unique ‘Try before You Buy’ option).
- We have entered into a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with The University of Bath to continue to develop our frames, houses and wall systems, to meet and exceed the increasingly stringent codes of the future.
