Luxury room above garage business venture

Naturally, Nicola and Simon wanted their build to blend in with the rustic charm of their home. Once they’d settled on an oak frame, their thoughts turned to finding a builder capable of fulfilling their wishes. Perhaps surprisingly, the one they chose didn’t come by way of a recommendation or from any type of property publication.

Nicola and Simon happened upon one of our adverts in a car magazine. Given the job they had in mind, Oakwrights seemed like the perfect match. A little research assured them we had all the expertise and experience needed to design and build exactly what they wanted: an addition that would do justice to their home as well as their car collection.

“You know you’ve done something right when those who come to visit the area as Airbnb guests are reluctant to leave,” says Nicola. “We’ve received some staggeringly good reviews on Airbnb.”

“I particularly love the design, quality of materials and, of course, the build’s fabulous good looks. Simon jokes that he particularly loves that it adds value to our property. But I’ve caught him gazing at it more times than I care to remember. Seriously, we’re both delighted with it.”
