Construction Site Crew
Location: Hereford / Sugwas workshops
Salary: Competitive, DOE + excellent benefits!
Contract: Full time, permanent

Deadline For Application: Friday 20th February
About the role
As part of our Site Crew at Oakwrights, you’ll be hands-on in bringing exceptional timber buildings to life on sites across the UK. Working in small, highly skilled teams, you’ll help erect beautiful green oak frames alongside modern softwood timber frame systems, including our award winning, pre-insulated panel systems.
You’ll travel to a mix of local and national sites, working closely with your foreman and teammates to assemble structures safely, accurately and efficiently. Every day is practical and varied, reading drawings, setting out, lifting and fixing structural elements, and solving challenges as they arise. You’ll take real pride in delivering high-quality workmanship that reflects our reputation for excellence.
We’ll rely on you to follow our standard details, work confidently at height, and actively contribute to improving safety, quality and efficiency on site. Just as importantly, you’ll represent Oakwrights professionally when working around clients and other trades, communicating clearly and working collaboratively at all times.
This role suits people who enjoy working outdoors, value teamwork, and are motivated to keep learning. Whether you’re an experienced oak frame erector or a timber frame carpenter looking to develop your skills further, we’re keen to hear from individuals who show initiative, commitment and have a positive, can-do attitude. For the right candidates, we also offer trainee opportunities, with training and support to help you grow within the team.
At Oakwrights, you’re not just putting buildings together, you’re part of a close-knit crew delivering bespoke timber structures that are built to last, for high-value clients across the country.
